Meet Luke, Founder of Pillar Support Group

Hi, I’m Luke.

I’ve spent the last few years working in disability support, and I started Pillar Support Group to provide the kind of service I believe every person deserves: consistent, respectful, and genuinely caring.

I’ve seen firsthand how the right support worker can transform the lives of both participants and their families. That’s what drives me every day. For me, it’s about more than just showing up, it’s about building a foundation of trust through my Four Pillars of Support:

  • Respect: Treating everyone with dignity, listening deeply, and honoring your choices.

  • Reliability: Being the consistent, dependable support you can count on, every single time.

  • Adaptability: Tailoring my approach to meet your evolving goals and unique needs.

  • Transparency: Maintaining open, honest communication so you always know what to expect.

By focusing on these values, my ultimate goal is Empowerment, supporting you to build confidence, develop new skills, and lead a more independent life.

Nikki (Participants Mother)

"Luke has worked with our family for 2 years now providing exceptional support for our 13 year old son, Zac who has complex physical disability. He is professional - punctual, organised, meticulous with details, trustworthy, fast learning and unflappable with the constantly changing needs of our son. Most importantly, he is fun and always up for enthusiastically helping Zac to be as active as possible. Whether that's playing basketball, Mario Kart or swimming in the pool, Luke makes sure that routine afterschool shifts are times that Zac looks forward to. In amongst personal care and feeds, Zac knows he'll get to 'hang with Luke'. Our whole family value having Luke involved in Zac's care and most importantly, our three boys feel comfortable and like they can be themselves when he is around."
